This looks like a really old picture…
Hmmm…one of your sepia experiments? This has Eleanor links
See, I always feel the need for words on WW, lol. That’s gorgeous - wherever it is! Near you?
PS: Thanks for the link love - I hadn’t noticed! (sorry!) I’m reciprocating as we speak
Breathtaking! Details, we need details…LOL
Hugs, Holly
Magnificent!
So maybe it can be Wordless Wednesday morning…and it the evening people can tell everyone what the picture is??
Is that Lichfield Cathedral?
Close, but it’s Lincoln Cathedral (as you would have seen, had you hovered your mouse over the picture ) taken from the battlements of Lincoln Castle.
I took the photo in 2005 using my trusty digital camera’s sepia setting. Works quite well for old things doesn’t it?
Where’s my wife…..?
Fantastic. It’s nice to see buildings that are older than 150 years old (considered ancient here in Canada). Inspiring.
Isn’t it cheating a little to participate in a WW then post 3 other wordy posts?
Fab picture but your wife will kill you if she reads your comments . . .lol

its not unusual for cathedrals to look magnificent and inpressive, but that one was a good WW post becuase it leaves me speechless. Its awe-inspiring
duh….hover mouse over picture….
Well done Claire!
Cheers Rav’N Lincoln’s cool because you can actually see it, unlike a lot of others that have been obstructed by other buildings.
Thanks Sunflower!
Don’t worry Kai, I leave a lot of messages in the photo alt-tags and so far only Katherine ( A stream of consciousness) has noticed….
What ARE you up to Ms Pitt?
Just remember, you’re older than me honey
