Ways To Save Money [P]
I think ways of saving money, and improving your financial situations are subjects close to most of our hearts, hence me taking part in sponsored posts. However, there are many other ways to improve your financial situation, and none of them involve buying lottery tickets! One of my favourites is to make use of 0% balance transfers on credit cards. These are time limited deals where you may transfer existing balances onto a new credit card and pay nothing in interest for a set number of months. Discipline is needed though to ensure, you either pay off the balance, or transfer to another card once the 0% period is up. Savings can be made on mortgages and personal loans by shopping around - never take the first deal offered, and always be prepared to haggle, or walk away if you can’t get the deal you want. The same applies to current accounts - we switched our current account from a major lender who paid us less than £5 ($10) a year to one who has just paid us £85 ($170) for 2006! One last place to look at saving cash is home insurance - never stay with your mortgage provider unless you’re contractually obliged to. Use the internet and shop around for the best deal.
