I begin to dread the annual car insurance
Well a way around this angst and misery would be to make use of GoCompare.com. They offer a variety of vehicle insurance, including bikes, cars, vans and general breakdown, not to mention house and travel insurance as well. Since starting this post, I have also logged in and picked up a quote, which was a very simple process and took little over 5 minutes. The results came back from a couple of dozen insurers, all neatly arranged by price, and a simple grid demonstrating the main points of cover. I could refine it further by giving priority to extras such as courtesy car or windscreen replacement, and it would re-order the search accordingly. It seems incredible that the results could range from over £400 to less than £150, but I could see at a glance the differences in cover and found one that would suit around £160. This is great, knowing that I have the right level of cover, and that they’re cheaper than my current insurer - no worries about missing out on a deal here!
It really was a simple and painless process and is to be recommended next time your renewal is up.
