Turn Your Mobile Number Into An Email Address
If you’ve ever gone through the rigmarole of trying to explain your email address to someone (”it’s an underscore-no, like a dash but at the bottom”) then this new service from Red Inbox may be of interest to you.
Very simply, you sign up for free, and once verified your mobile number becomes your email address, e.g.: 07856555846@redinbox.co.uk.
Any emails sent to that address will instantly get forwarded to an email address of your choice, meaning that you can access it all in one place, rather than having to divide it up by work or family etc. If you’re happy to give a person your mobile number, then they have an email address too.
This will be really hand amongst a large group of friends or colleagues if everyone signs up, as you’ll never be stuck for the email address again. They have a dot com for US numbers too, so don’t feel left out!
