I’ve been using credit cards for many years now, and have generally found it to be a positive experience. Thankfully I have never been a victim of credit card fraud, although I understand my rights and protection should it occur, and it is a welcome bonus to have the free purchase insurance that my cards offer. We regularly use our 0% credit cards for our normal monthly spending, as it keeps our cash in the bank longer, earning more interest. Although I am very careful with them now, if you do get into a position where you’ve spent a bit too much, it’s a good idea to make use of the 0% balance transfers available , to give yourself more chance to pay them off. Used wisely, credit cards are a great tool.
