This is amazing!

You won’t believe this, but trust me it really works!!!!!!

Simply forward this post to everyone in your email address book, and within minutes, literally nothing will happen!

Isn’t that incredible?

Just bug everyone you know with this piece of random crap and sheer nothing will be your eternal & blessed reward.

Oh, and while you’re at it, forward this three times and send it to your boss hard copy, and some non-existent corporation will donate 3 cents to some little sick girl dying of ebola-AIDS who’s also collecting birthday cards to get in the Guinness book of non-existent records.

But that’s not all! Attach anyone of an infinite number of internet memes/jokes/lolcatz to suddenly become the most popular person on the planet.

But remember! You must forward this to everyone you know, or you’ll instantly contract cat AIDS or something.

Inspired by, along with all the internet crap I get forwarded 18 times a day by people who think I give a shit.

    Right on.

By the way, I heard that a wealthy family recently died in a plane crash somewhere over Africa, and no-one has come forward to claim the $18,000,000 left in their Ugandan bank account. Word has it that the Ugandan National Bank wil lbe contacting you very soon to offer a share in the fortune, and will only require your bank account number and sort code details, so that the deposit can be made. Good luck!

  2. The last one of these I got from a usually level-headed colleague of mine. It was one of those Bill-Gates-is-monitoring-Internet-traffic and will send you X dollars for every person you forward this special email to. You’ve seen variants on this at least.

I sent a reply: When you get your thousands, you can call me to gloat all you want. I just want to see the check.

He replied, “O ye of little faith.” But he hasn’t called to gloat yet.

Cheers for the heads-up Pinksy, how much do they want & where should I send it?

I share your cynicism Curmudgeon (can you tell?) – I find a link to the relevant Snopes page will usually silence them.

  4. Oddly enough, I Stumbled across that very link this evening. I came right back here, intending to call it to your attention — because in my haste this morning I had not followed the “inspired by” link and so did not then know you already had it.

An amazing coincidence, wouldn’t you say?

I’m not clicking on it.

I told you magical things would happen Curmudgeon – beware the power of the intarweb!

Your avatar is oddly suitable Alison ;-)

  7. Alison says:

How did I know you would say that, hmm? My Christmas present better be good.

I need to visit here more often. :) And, just where is your CommentLuv Mr. Lodge?

  9. Chris says:

My Commentluv was killed by all these slimeball spammers that pop up on a daily basis. No follow for all!

  10. Erika Jean says:

Wow I haven’t been here in forever! It looks a lot different!

I receive this too many a times. And sometimes it does make me slightly apprehensive as to whether I should junk the mail and most often I do.

  12. the new trend is: click here to feed a child with just a click.

  13. afriend says:

i think this is better than the one that says that if i don’t forward it my cat will die or i will not find love etc
