I missed out on the latest carnival instigated by The Bestest Blog as my one and only funny post had been used the carnival before, but that shouldn’t stop you checking the carnival out here at the er, unique Dr Blogstein.

I have to highlight one of the funniest posts I have ever read though, being ‘Grand Entry‘ by Slaghammer. The tale of his first prostate exam…:

• When researching your physician database, choose a female urologist no more than four feet, seven inches in height. In this way, you can be reasonably confident that the finger utilized to plunder your precious rosebud will be no thicker than a McDonald’s french-fry.
• The conundrum of the eternal struggle between the unstoppable force and the immovable object will be resolved in short order.
• Doctor Torpedo apparently misread my grunting admonition as an expression of joy and proceeded to push my liver aside in what felt like an enthusiastic rush towards an unscheduled dental exam.

There is so much more in the post, you have to go read. The worst of it is, I’m 34 in March, and I have seen my future…. and I’m not liking it! :-O
