I have been tagged by Carol for the following. Read at your own risk:

1 ) What have you learned so far from your visitors? We’ve all got too much time on our hands…. Seriously, there’s a lot of good people out there who go out of their way to be friendly to new faces: you can forget that in ‘the real world’ - the internet can be a nice place.

2 ) If someone would offer to pay a course (or more) for you, what that course would be? Blogging-wise? I’ve been dabbling & tweaking HTML, PHP & CSS for the last 4 months since I started my website & blogs and I’d love to really understand the nuts & bolts of webdesign. It’s just a good thing there’s so many talented people giving away there work for free-its the only reason my sites look so good.

3 ) Are you satisfied with what you’ve achieved this year, in general? My wife & I both gave up jobs we didn’t like, moved 500 miles north to the most beautiful part of the UK, and live in sight of mountains and the sea, and are surrounded by Stone Circles. The boys are loving their new life & thriving, and I’ve started a website & 2 blogs which have given me the chance to talk to some cool new people. It’s been a good year.

4 ) Did blogging changed your life or your personality in any way? Like a lot of people have said, I now view my whole existence as a potential blogging subject…

5 ) If you had the opportunity to meet one person that you admire the most in the world, who that person would be? Henry Rollins - one from none, self made, straight edge & hardcore. The man refuses to waste 1 second of his life, does so much to help other people, yet still has the sense of humour & observation to leave me crying with laughter one minute, and then just crying the next. His music’s pretty good as well. Thanks Henry.

The rules of the game:

  1. You will be asked 5 questions and if you choose to participate and answer, then you will have to pass it on to 5 other people, although everyone is free to participate.
  2. The questions you are passing on can be any questions you like but you can’t change question number 5.
  3. If, you don’t like a question you are being asked (except no.5)? or you can’t answer a question, you are then free to change that question with your own.

I will tag Skittles, Bob, Pinksy, Erika and Stephanie.

  1. I only want to meet Bill Gates.

  2. And what would you do to him?

  3. Do I answer the same 5 questions, or do you want to ask 4 different ones (plus the fifth fixed one)? Or do I make up my own?

  4. I think the 5 original questions are quite interesting, but Carol has given you the freedom to change-I guess it depends on who you’re going to tag next…

  5. Hey wait.. I thought you didn’t like memes?

  6. I did it ;)

  7. Thanks Skittles, I could not comment on or view half the blogger blogs I visited yesterday!

    Beneath the grumpy exterior I can’t resist a good list/meme post…

  8. Actually this is not a ordinary game.
The questions are not the same as on a meme game.

Anyways, what would i do with Bill Gates?Your question is funny.

Oh Dear Lord! Just give me the opportunity to meet Bill and the time and I’ll worry about creativity.
I can only tell you that i love him and admire him the most on Earth.

  9. Microsoft ‘bugs’ me as much as the next person, but I think you could do worse for President than Bill. Mind you, you’d probably have to reboot the US every morning ;-)

  10. See,i was talking about Bill gates and not Microsoft.

I admire him as a man and for what he has done… and what he achieved so far.
No other man can say he’s living everything he’s ever imagine and over like him.

  11. I quite agree. His charitable work alone is outstanding. I can’t stand these comments along the line of

‘He’s only given $50 million to the cause of X-that’s nothing to him’

Oh really? It’s a hell of a lot to the people who received it. If only there were more like him.

  12. He actually gave away half of his billions to charity and intends to spend the other half also in helping the world.

When he’ll retire next year,he’ll be more active on his charity foundation and then probably people will see him as a person…and not relate him to Microsoft.

    God bless him!

  13. Done it (link), and I passed it on to 4 others (sorry, not quite 5). Skytower was one of them, and he’s done it already: Link

  14. Thanks Mark, I like this one, its been interesting to read the answers.

  15. Blogging makes me look at the world and what people do and say as potential blog fodder as well.

I haven’t moved in years but your answers to 1, 2, and 4 read almost the same as mine would.

I’m here from the blog Carnival.

  16. Hi John, thanks for visiting :-)

  17. I know when something funny or crazy happens to me, I just can’t wait to get home and blog about it! : ) It’s definitely changed my life as well.
Great Meme…thanks for submitting it to the carnival.

  18. Came from THE COUCH for the Carnival…

    Thanks for your five…. interesting
