That’s Going To Hurt…
Ow. Great photo, but my word that’s going to hurt. Brings back far too many memories of school football in the depths of winter, and getting a football straight in the face. There’s nothing as sympathetic as a group of schoolboys seeing someone else get hurt.
Mind you, we were lucky to play football at all, both our games teachers were Welsh & fanatical egg-chasers (Rugby players) and just didn’t like it at all. They did however, enjoy joining in if it gave them a chance to kick 12 year old boys in the air, and pretend they were superstar sportsmen, instead of sad-act sheep worriers in a dreary comprehensive in Romford. I do however have at least one happy memory of a school games lesson. That cry of pain as I leapt through the air and landed on Mr Bowen’s knee at top velocity during a match - well, it was a fair tackle….

Man tha has got to suck. I have taken a couple SOCCER balls like this to the face myself :-/ lol. I played in High School.
