It can, and stop calling me Shirley. One of the funniest films I have ever seen, Airplane is 27 years old now, and whilst as stupid as it ever was, remains  very, very funny.

I don’t think they ever bettered this, although parts of the sequel (Involving The Shat) weren’t bad. Enjoy the trailer from 1980….
