I had not heard of the Strumpette blog, but if true this story beggars belief.
According to this post on Strumpette from Dec 29th, Amanda Chapel, the main blogger behind the site was seriously injured in a car crash, and as you can see, photos were provided. So far, so horrible, hope she’s going to be ok.
Then you read this story at Roam4Free. The photos were taken from an unrelated crash in which 2 people died, and the Illinois State Police apparently have no record of the alleged Amanda Chapel crash.
Can this be real? Would someone really stoop this low to get publicity and a few hits? If so, I think this might just backfire on them. Has anyone read this Strumpette blog?
Unbelievable.

Amanada Chapel, aka Strumpete is among the best read PR bloggers. It is supposedly an alias from an executive a large agency. She has consistently maintained that bloggers are hypocrites and that we do not check out the facts when we write. She basks in controversy.
I assume she did this to prove her point about not checking facts and it has backfired.
Thanks for the comment & your original post.
She may be right about checking the facts in generality, but dragging the grief of 2 bereaved & totally unrelated families into it is positively subterranean.
What a lowlife.
Unbelievable isn’t it Chris.
Really quite stunning. Can’t wait to see the reasoning behind this…
All:
Well, I am okay.
Thank you for your kind wishes and concern.
- Amanda
Who was concerned?
Disgusted more like. Any explanation for the use of the photos forthcoming?
Chris,
What’s disgusting is your rush to judgment and your ignorance.
Would you like to touch my wounds Thomas?

OK. So that photo on Strumpette was of your car then? If so, I will update my post, and contact the blogger whose original post I quoted, so that he can change his.
Fair enough?
Amanda comparing herself to Jesus doesn’t surprise me Chris, always thought she fancied herself as some sort of Guru
