It almost passed unnoticed over the weekend, but my 3000th comment was left by one David Airey.

Doing the maths, of now having 3067 comments to 668 posts means a quite amazing ratio of just under 5 comments a post - granted most of those belong to Pinksy, but that’s great, and thanks to every one who visits & comments.

If you’ve not checked out David’s blog, pop over and have a read, there’s usually something interesting and design related going on, and he comes up with some brilliant images on occasion :-)

    I’m honoured Chris :)

Thanks for the post, and for the kind words. I enjoy the humour you’ve built into this site.

    Keep it up buddy.

Only joking (sort of), well done David.

  6. I think I want to count something on my site too — but I don’t just want to copy. What can I track?

    Left-handed vs. right-handed visitors?

    Day vs. Night visitors?

    Word counts in comments?

C’mon — looking for obscure suggestions here.

Thanks all, it’s nice to read all your comments, I’m always happy when I log in to see so many.

Hey Skittles, Wordpress keeps a running total of posts, comments and spam comments in a little box when I log in. 858 spam comments captured so far, and only 1 made it as far as the public side :-)

Serves you right Claire, the times I’ve visited your blog and ‘just happened’ to miss out on the happy hundreds ;-)

    Copy away Curmudgeon :-)
