Well, we finally got a few inches last night (stop sniggering at the back!), it’s not much but it pleased the boys:

Snow

That’s the view from our bedroom window. You can’t really make out the hills in the background, as the clouds are rolling in from there. There’s not even enough to go sledding unfortunately, but 50 odd 5 year olds had quite a time in the playground this morning.

I’m willing to bet that some of you have a bit more snow than this….

No sniggering from me! I’m beginning to wonder if we’ll ever get our snowy winter here.

Ironically, it’s so rare to see proper white snow these days – tends to be grey down this way. Although, personally, I’d rather not see any at all!

Lovely view from your bedroom window. :)

Very little pollution this way Skytower :-) Apart from after eating haggis…

It can be fun Erika, luckily it’s a very clever modular swing, so we can add to it in the spring…

Cheers, Rose, on a clear day we can see the mountains :-)

    I can see Mcdonalds.

  8. Your yard is an interesting shape!

Goodness, I remember HUGE dumps of snow in Edinburgh…..

Have you read Kate Atkinson? Her latest is set in Edinburgh..she had one in Aberdeen too….

Our garden is ridiculous Crunchy. The 2 houses share a fairly square plot of land, yet ours narrows to a point. Weird. The builders really don’t think about gardens at all in the UK, once the houses are built, the fences just get thrown up at random it seems.

I’ve not heard of Kate Atkinson, what does she write? (First person to say ‘books’ will be sent to stand in the corner of the blogosphere)
