Smorty is a service that enables  bloggers to get paid for blogging that I have recently joined.

It works in the usual way, that you get paid for writing about opportunities that are provided to you by Smorty. In addition to those that are emailed to you, there are also some available on general release that you can choose to accept or just ignore.  The requirements for the paid posts are simple and straightforward ,and you are not told what to write: you simply need to provide your opinion, good or bad (although personally if I have nothing good to say, I won’t take the opportunity) and include the required links.

Smorty has some cool features, like the very smooth and informative personal homepage, standard requirements for all opportunities and the fact that they pay you weekly by Paypal. Anyone can join, as long as your blog is at least three months old, be indexed by search engines, be active and obviously, not contain anything offensive.

Equally the site is of course open to people wishing to advertise on blogs, as without them there would be no opportunities! This is my first post for Smorty, so I’ll keep you informed as to how things progress, but if you’d like to blog for money, why not give them a try?
