Are tainted by the torture of the mundane things. Was your school toilet paper like this?
Our stuff was this horrible shiny, waxed paper, that was as absorbent as concrete, and when scrunched up had roughly (geddit?) the same texture.
I think I managed to avoid going to the toilet at school for the last 6 years - I saw this photo and was taken straight back….

We had John Wayne toilet paper: rough and tough and won’t take *hit off anybody.

I am back, it was izal medicated stuff! you could use it for tracing paper!lol!
Some of the public rest rooms have that kind of toilet paper.
and our lovely shiny paper also had ‘Please Wash Your Hands’ printed on it as well!

Yep, ours was just like tracing paper as well…actually I think the tracing paper would have been more comfortable….
Thankfully ours was much easier to set fire to or most of the fun would have been taken out of those rainy days when no-one went out side.
