*lol* I suspect my boyfriend and our housemate feel the same way as you. We have a saying at work that goes something like “a messy desk is a sign of a hard worker”. After all, if you’re spending time cleaning your desk, thats time that you could have been working thats gone wasted
The latest thing our government is spend out tax money on, is calling consultants (or ‘consulticks’ as Scott Adams calls them) in to tell people how to organise their desks.
They put pieces of tape down to show where your pens, telephone, diary etc. should sit. If something isn’t ‘active’ it shouldn’t be on the desk.
Someone was actually asked if their banana was active….
