So far nokia has almost the same menu structure. It’s so simple to use even when you use a brand new phone model. no need instruction book. Samsung has changed the menu for several times since the old time I think… (a bit confusing when the first time i used samsung). But samsung has better quality on audio and display fairly.

If I’m totally honest GC, I agree with you. The thing I’ve always loved about Nokia’s is that you simply don’t need an instruction book, you can just pick them up & go.

I know this post is an advert but I have to say that Samsung phones have really bad interfaces - basic things like setting someones number to be a default (say the person has mobile , home, work and you want the mobile as default) can’t be done, I can on an old Siemens, a SE, a Nokia.
Have the SIm as a backup for the phone book - nope you end up with double entries that you then need to go and delete one at a time. Enter contacts via PC software, nope again only via Outlook
I thought Siemens was bad (it is) until I got a Samsung, never again.
