Stuff SEO, how’s that for a title? Spurred on by the efforts of Sunflower & Erika, I decided to get off my butt, switch off the PC (the humanity!) and go for a ride on my bike.

Seeing as the Formartine & Buchan Way runs past my village, there was no excuse. It’s an old, closed railway so the going was easy, and the view was (mostly) beautiful - some of the cuttings are quite deep and a train once got stuck in snow for over a week! It was a lovely ride, absolutely freezing to start with, I lost all feeling in my ears & finger tips, but I soon warmed up, and in the end made all the way to Dyce. A round trip of 11 miles which wasn’t too bad for the first ride in months. Must keep it up.

I’ll take my camera next time, and post a few pics. Strangely, my legs don’t ache at all, but I’m walking a little like John Wayne if you know what I mean…
