OK, I really want one of these portable hard drives. USB keys have been around a while now, and are great for backing up and transferring your files, but the memory size versus cost has always been an issue for me. Well, these Pexagon portable hard drives look to put that issue to one side - 40Gb for just under $60? That’s ridiculous! 160Gb (as big as an awful lot of internal hard drives) for $169.99? That’s me sold, I want one.

Easily back up just about every file you have, through a USB 2.0 connection into a pocket sized device that can switch between Windows and Mac systems without any extra software, and it even comes in a cool range of colors:

You can even get it personalized for free, there’s a range of sizes between the two I mentioned, and there’s not even a minimum order value - although I’d find it hard to only buy one! Looks like a top product, and I’d love to give one a go.
