Alex Tew, who made a million dollars with the simplest idea no-one else had thought of, The Million Dollar Homepage, is having another go. Only this time, he’s going to make someone else a millionaire, as well as himself: Pixelotto.
The idea is this: Advertisers (or bloggers) buy pixels at a dollar each until the prize find reaches $2,000,000. Readers register, and can then click on up to 10 ads every day, as many days as they feel like. At the end, Alex makes another million, and then an ad is is selected? at random.? A winner is then drawn from all of the readers who clicked on that particular ad, to walk away with a million to themselves.
Simple idea (again) and worth a few clicks of my time. How long I keep it up is another matter. What would you do with a million dollars?
