After many months of trying, and with more than a Second Effort, the Curmudgeon made it to the top of the hot air board with 64 comments in May, and is the deserving recipient of this:

Some may say the victory was down to Claire losing her internet connection on the 30th May, but I would say it was down to persistence, hard work and sheer procrastination when he should have been working. Good man.
