This would be exceptionally useful if you work in a shared office: The Lock Cup.

Simple to use, just take the key out and there is a hole in the cup rendering it useless to dirty, no good mug thieves. Just pop the key back in, lock it up and fill with your favoured hot beverage.

That’s hilarious! I love it! They think of everything eh?
This strikes me as altogether too complicated. I’d have to remember my key, for one thing.
Simply don’t wash your coffee mug: Then no one will bother with it, will they? And pay no attention to the crust build-up inside… at least until closing time when perhaps you may splash a little something else into the mug. And if you don’t have time to clean the mug before you splash the scotch in… well, you may know better than I, but there’s peat bogs and wood barrels involved in the production thereof so we can’t be too picky about it, can we?
I guess blue mould is the ultimate deterrent
hehehe a true evil genius came up with that one. I like it…eventhough nobody has actually stolen or tried to use my mug at the office so far.
