If you’re anything like me (and if you’re not, be thankful) you played with Google Earth for 10 minutes or so, found your house, or grew depressed that you live in a low-res area,then got bored, this site may be of interest: Intrepid Earth.
They have browsed the globe to find interesting shots, and then packaged them together into ‘tours’ for you. Google Earth for the lazy? Sign me up….
Sights include the 10 tallest buildings in the world, the Panama canal, all 18 Formula 1 tracks and the Pyramid of the sun. I quite liked this photo of the ‘boneyard’ in the Nevada desert. A home for broken-down bloggers?

My husband spends more time looking that place over than he does anywhere else with Google Earth.
I find it fascinating & sad at the same time. All those lovely planes, just needing a pilot ….me. (I know they also need billions of dollars of maintenance, but I can dream…)
