I know some of you guys are not as interested in boosting & tweaking your blog as I may be, but for those of you who are, you’ll probably remember me writing before about how the best way to increase blog visibility is to increase the number of links pointing to your blog. Both Technorati, and more importantly Google, rank your blogs according to the number of links pointing to your site from other peoples. A high number of links will improve your Google Page Rank and your Technorati ranking, which amongst other things leads to your blog being placed higher up search results. I can vouch for this, because although Thermal is just a random name for my blog, type that into Google now, and my blog is the number two result. When I started, it was about page ten. A good way to increase link popularity then, may be to run a campaign with Blogitive. This can be a fast, cost-effective way to get your link out on many blogs, and benefit from an increased Google ranking.
