It works well if you get a blogging friend to do it for you and then you follow up on it. I don't use the related posts plugin. I used the similar posts plugin. It does basically the same thing except that I can restrict it to using the same category for the related posts. The same author also has a sister plugin called Similar Posts for Feeds.
