Stumbling your own site doesn't work very well. It works well if you get a blogging friend to do it for you and then you follow up on it.

I don't use the related posts plugin. I used the similar posts plugin. It does basically the same thing except that I can restrict it to using the same category for the related posts. The same author also has a sister plugin called Similar Posts for Feeds. I use that one now too and it shows up on every feed.

Smiley-tastic

When you're on a page you like just click 'I like it' on your stumble toolbar. If you're the first to do it a little pop-up will appear asking you to choose a category.

Simple, but effective :-)

Your comments on my blog are duly noted....

It’s like Stumble Upon only you never leave my blog!

In other words, a descent into Hell....

( ) I hope that's the right little yellow dot to signify I'm not serious.

Well, not entirely serious... ( )

Seemed another little yellow dot was called for there, too....

And I still have to figure out this Stumble business... I've Stumbled a bit at work (I capitalized it to make certain you didn't get the wrong idea) and I've come across some of the very things you've linked to over time... but I haven't self-Stumbled or figured out how to Stumble anyone else. Aside from sticking my leg out as they walk by, of course....

I posted it to Reddit first, and waited to see if someone else would Digg it! Ah well, it pulled a few punters in.

What would you categorize it as on Stumble?

AFAIK the only clue is it's rapid disappearance, and re-digging will get you banned as a spammer. This is why Digg sucks logs.

Try Reddit?

How do you tell it's been buried? And can it be unburied or re-Dugg?

You've been buried mate.

Digg is populated by 13 YO boys who have a hatred of anything blog related unless it has a pictures of scantily clad young ladies in repose (They have a point I guess).

From what I've read, there are actually groups of 'Diggers' going around burying anything blog related, and it only takes 4 or 5 to bury a story. Have a Stumble instead :-)

Lovin those plugins eh? I keep meaning to do a related posts plugin to go at the bottom of each of mine.

Hey, any idea why one of my posts could disappear off Digg? I posted my "James Bond's Outbox" article to Reddit.com, and someone Dugg it (http://digg.com/movies/James_Bond_s_Outbox_PICTURES). It was happily getting more and more Diggs (and my traffic was going up), but then about midnight last night it disappeared from the News/Upcoming pages, the Entertainment/Upcoming pages, the Movies pages... The only way to find it now is by direct link or through someone's Dugg list.
