I’m always a sucker for photos of huge engineering projects, and these are no exception:

The Monitor-Merrimac Memorial Bridge Tunnel, USA:

The Millau Bridge, France:

Absolutely stunning. I understand how these things are constructed, but sometimes, looking at the pictures, you just think Witchcraft had to be involved… I would love to travel through/over both of these. Have any of you managed it? What was it like?
