Over on one of my other blogs I asked people recently to give me their best shot, where I asked them to share what they thought was one of their best posts, especially if it didn’t really get the response they were hoping for at the time.

I think we’ve all done it, spent ages on an unusually creative post, only to be met with resounding silence and lack of comments, so here I’m asking you to give your posts a second chance. All you have to do is write a post on your blog telling people about the post (and obviously linking to it) and if you link back to me, I’ll come read and comment on it, and I’ll even give you a link back in a later round-up post.

While you’re at it, why not ask your readers for their ‘best shots’ too? Share the love

If you want, you can formalise it with these simple guidelines:

‘The Rules’

1. Write a post telling your readers about your ‘best shot’ and link them to it.
2. Linkback to the blog which first asked you to give your best shot.
3. Ask your readers for their best posts, and then ensure you read and comment on them.

Don’t be shy, show us what you’ve got, and you may pick up a new reader or 3!
