This site has the potential to be very useful:

Fuelmyblog, the site with the fuel to feed your blog.

The idea is obviously inspired by the various million dollar homepage/pixel advertising websites, but this time, you can actually read the adverts because they’re a sensible size. Take a look at the homepage: each square is 40 pixels square, which means your blog logo is actually visible. A square this size on one of the pixel ad sites would cost you at least $1600! Here, it will only cost you £50 ($100) for the homepage (Gold) or £25 for the silver membership, which would put your blog logo on one of 4 tabbed pages accessed from the homepage. These tabs are headed ‘Sport’, ‘Business’, ‘Life’ and ‘All Sorts’, so you should find one to suit. As an added bonus, each ad is guaranteed 5 years display. Each page contains room for only 625 blocks, and this will not be extended. You can supply your own logo in the usual picture formats, or Fuelmyblog can supply you with one. Once you’ve chosen & paid for your block, it is reserved and will not be sold to anyone else.

Will it get you traffic? Who knows, but let’s be honest no-one thought Alex Tew would make a million dollars and he did, and it would have cost your $1600 to get a comparable ad on his page, instead of $100 here. One to watch.
