As you may have heard, the southern part of the UK has been wreathed in fog for the last 48 hours. It’s just been reported on the news that some poor people are likely to spend Christmas at Heathrow airport, as the earliest their flights can be re-scheduled for is December the 26th. That’s pretty harsh. If it was only a domestic flight, I think I’d do a Planes, Trains & Automobiles* to get home, but if you’re on an international flight what can you do?
Mind you, it makes for some great photos:

This photo of Glastonbury Tor was taken by Colin Rayner, and can be seen on the BBC website with some more.
It’s been below zero all week here in Aberdeenshire, but clear blue skies & sunshine. Frost has formed on frost, and everything is white & crystalline. Very Christmassy.
* P, T & A? is one of my favourite films - so many good moments: ‘That’s no pillow!’, ‘Give me a f*****g car’, the ‘Devil scene’, fingerprints in the dashboard. I’ve got to watch it again, and I only saw it last month! John Candy is sorely missed. As is a funny Steve Martin.
