Ever Forgotten An Anniversary?
I did last week when I told you about my new job - November the 8th marked one year in the life of this humble blog!
From my first post:
I doubt that this blog will be updated daily as some creative people can, but I will try for at least weekly, and promise to kill the blog if I can’t think of anything to write - nothing worse than a hopeful blog trumpeting its birth, along with the tag ‘Last updated: June 2001?.
Hmm, well up until around a month ago I pretty much exceeded the daily thing, and no-one’s more surprised than me that I’ve kept it up for 12 months, as well as starting 2 other blogs. It’s kind of strange that one year on, this blog will probably now return more to it’s roots (such as they are!) as the paid posts are consigned to history (though I have one more left to do). I don’t think they negatively affected the blog too much, although there were days when it seemed a struggle to find stuff to write about in between the paid stuff. Still, they made me a few thousand dollars, paid for holidays and other things and filled a gap for sure.
So twelve months and 51,000 visitors later (that’s just silly….) what does the future hold? Lots more hot air probably

Happy belated anniversary Chris! I have no doubt that you will find some fodder to write about when you start the new job. Here’s hoping anyway.

One (plus) year - congratulations!
I missed my blog’s anniversary a couple of weeks ago and made myself sleep on the couch. Fine. I fell asleep watching TV, but it still counts.

Great work. Just don’t forget your really anniversary or you might need a marriage counselor.
