Is there any idea that someone on the web hasn’t come up with yet? Apparently not: Email Capsules

Just write a message to your future self, enter your email address and the date you’d like to receive it (up to 100 years in the future!) and you’re done. You can setup a free account, in order to be able to edit email address should you need to in the future.

Can’t see me actually recieving a message 50 years from now, but it may have a use as a reminder service for birthdays etc.
