What a fantastic idea for a blog - I wonder if it’s too late for me to start one too? Basically, the premise is that Dann will drink 365 different beers in 2007, and record his thoughts on his blog.
He’s not going to drink one a day, but I guess the premise will be if he slips behind, he’ll ‘make up for it’. Should be a good year 
I agree with him about Bass, it’s horrible stuff. I surveyed the brewery a few years ago and having seen the place I’m not surprised! Anyone want to recommend any beers? I’m very much into the dark, traditional style ales at the moment: McEwans Champion ale is gorgeous, taste-wise you could drink it by the gallon, but at nearly 8% ABV, one bottle is enough to give you rubbery legs…

Well my husband is crazy about Sunset Wheat by that brewery that sounds like linenkugle (but I know it’s not spelled that way) and in Kentucky they have this beer by the BBC I think that is aged in oak bourbon barrels…now that is very good.
They both sound good. If only you could taste beer across the internet….
I hate beer. lol. I like the hard stuff! lol. I really dont like to drink much at all….
I think I will do that with Single Malt Scotch!

I always have a terrible time in the UK figuring out what beers I like.
I usually end up sticking to strong bow cider and er Scotch!

Do leave the Strongbow alone - terrible industrial drain cleaner…. Give Stowfords a try, or go to Cornwall and try some of the real stuff: You may be blind for a few hours afterwards, but hey. Don’t ever ask for Scotch in Scotland either, or you’ll be on the receiving end of a Claymore!
Come to Belgium and you’ll be drinking over 200 sorts of beer.
