A strange creation this, it’s an ‘Animaris’ by Theo Jansen. A creature that can walk by itself, if aided by a strong wind. If you look closely at the vid, you can see someone pushing this one, but the idea of the artist is to have them roaming free across a beach, moving wherever the wind takes them.
It’s a rather disconcerting motion, and I’m not sure why…
