It is an unfortunate fact that the older you get, the worse your eyes get, and I know I need a checkup shortly. I think I’m going to need to get some reading glasses, as it’s getting harder to read now, both books and on the PC.
The website of AC Lens would be a good place to start once you have your prescription, as they sell just about everything related to eyecare, including contact lenses, eyeglasses, prescription sports eyeware and the usual care accessories. The site is very nicely laid out, in easy to read black text on white, and wrapped in pleasant complementary blue borders.
All of the important navigation is laid out on the left, linking to the product ranges. The expected FAQ and contact pages are accessible from top and bottom navigation which is good, and there is also a toll free number on the front page, which is an excellent touch. On any e-retail site, I always look for the shipping charges first, as they can have a large impact on price comparison, and again these are available one click from the front page - and they offer free shipping on US orders over $89 which is even better!
All in all, the site is a pleasure to navigate, and you’re rarely more than one click away from what you need-if only all ecommerce sites were like this!
