Colour Scheming
There’s some clever people online. Color Schemer is a simple little tool, that lets you select a colour from a palette, and then suggests several other complementary colours. So, pick the colour thats matches your existing or planned web site, and it will suggest complementary colours for use as text, lines etc.
Lets be honest, there’s a few sites out there that would have benefited from using this tool first (what do you mean, mine?).

Hi Joetek, good to see you. Like the colours of your site, they wouldn’t initially appear to go on paper, but it looks really cool.

Thanks Chris,
It’s really tough to come up with a colour scheme that makes sense and is visually appealing. I’m definately more on the technical side, rather than design. I can’t put my finger on what works, but I know it when I see it!
