Did you hear the one about the girl who managed to over-dose on coffee?
Seriously, she was working in a cafe, and managed to drink seven double-espressos in one shift. I love coffee, but I’m not overly fond of espresso, so how she managed it I’m not sure, but she did and was left drenched in sweat, laughing, crying and hyper-ventilating. It’s a bit like watching Arsenal play football then.
Apparently you can kill yourself drinking coffee, but you’d need to put away around 200 cups of instant coffee in a single day, which is going some even for my wife. I think I’ll stick to my caramel macchiato….

I ordered an Espresso once, and felt entirely robbed. ‘Er Indoors found it highly hilarious, since she knew what to expect. I didn’t, and it was vile to boot.

Skytower, my first espresso experience was much the same – “What’s this? A thimble?”. And it does taste revolting….
