Clever Mint [P]
I’m always up for switching to a new credit card, based on a good deal, and Mint look to have done the business again with their latest uk credit card.
It’s APR is currently a variable 14.9% which is one of the lowest out there, and the card comes with a host of other benefits including 0% on all purchases up to January 2008, 0% on all balances until August 2008 and no annual fee. Additionally, transfer a balance during October 2008 and again receive 0% right through until April 2009. It’s a great way to save money if you can’t pay off an existing balance, by transferring it to a 0% card, however, do note that there is a 2.5% charge for all balance transfers. Do the maths, and if you’ll still save money after the charge, then transfer and make the most of that no interest period.
All this, plus online account management, free fraud protection and 24 hour help and assistance, make this a very attractive package.
