I saw the documentary on traveller weddings once, seems that all the big dresses and jewellery etc is a sign of status and quite normal for one of their weddings. Not something I’d like to try however.

What are “travellers”?

And how is Britney Spears related to this bunch? (That would explain a lot, wouldn’t it?)

‘Travellers’ is the polite name for pikeys, gipsys and other delightful romantic folk who scratch a living ripping off pensioners with sub-standard driveways.

Think of them as Britney’s transatlantic cousins.

Gypses is impolite? Or is it just too darned hard to spell?

Gipseys? Gypsys? Spell check throws ‘em all back. No… wait… gypsies!

Regardless, I had a couple of gypsy construction cases back in the day….
