Blog Performance

Hello, thanks for visiting, can I ask you a few questions please?

  1. Does my blog load fast enough, or are you left waiting? Please indicate your connection if you think it’s slow.
  2. Are there too many, or not enough posts on the first page? I’ve chosen 10 for speed, but if everyone thinks its fast enough, I can increase it.
  3. Is there anything you don’t like about the design of the blog? Anything that makes it hard to read, or is annoying (leaving aside my posts…)

Any answers & comments that help me improve this blog would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

    Your blog loaded fast. I am on a cable connection and it was almost immediate. The design works, not too cluttered and easy to follow and navigate.

    Thanks Guys, I’m inclined to go for 15 or even 20 posts, but I do like using photos which can slow things down. I might suck it & see…..

    1. Blog loads fine.
    2. I think you might go for more posts on the front page because you post so frequently. And as you do paid ads you’ll probably need to keep them ‘up front’ a little longer.
    3. As for this one, given the impossible conditions you impose on the answer…. no, the design is fine, thanks.

    The only thin g I don’t “like” is when I leave a comment it doesn’t return me back to the main page so I can keep reading the rest of the posts. Maybe try a pop up comment box? Or somehow return to the main page… I don’t know… just a suggestion. I love your blog anyway! and I will read it anyway! haha. I’m so glad that I can SEE it now too!

    Not sure if you can do a popup box with Wordpress (it’s one of the things I don’t like about Blogger blogs actually) but did you see my post on ‘Cooliris’? Its a little browsing add-on where you can visit links from a page, without actually leaving the page - I use it for comments all the time.

    Loads fast amd i think you can sacrifice the amount of posts you put up if your posting pictures
