Rich from Web Design Book knows how to get there and has an 11 point list including:
- Add a reflection
After all, you need to stand out from the crowd. - Come up with a silly name .. then take some of the vowels out.
I’m hoping to “flip” (sell) my company to Google, so what about “Flipr”? - Add the word “beta”
Well duh!
Quality satire 
What do think of his finished logo? It certainly looks like a few I’ve seen elsewhere….
