Shadows Of The Past

It’s seen a few: The 4000 year old Tyrebagger stone circle.

I took this photo in September for a photography competition but didn’t get anywhere. Which wouldn’t be so bad but the finalists were almost without exception awful – haloed HDR abominations, dull subjects and shots that looked like the camera went off by accident. Still, I’m not bitter. ;-)

Anyway, I like it and it was worth walking up a hill in the dark at 5am…… I think.

Love this photo Chris, would definitely like to be there right now!

A big massive thank you for being sooooooooooooooo nice and generous, it scared me :)

  2. This photo makes me want to go grab a blanket, spread it out right there in front of those trees and just spend the rest of the afternoon staring up into that beautiful sky. I’d bring along my Canon and maybe snap some wonderful fluffy cloud shots!!!

Then reality snaps me back to my crying 3 year old who just hit his 6 year old sister, who is also crying in her room. The baby wants a bottle and hubby is laying on the couch snoring. *sigh*

I really love your photos. My wife and I love the UK, and it makes me long to be there. Great work.
