It’s a long way from selling books, to space travel, but it looks like Jeff Bezos could do it. The first pictures and video of his spacecraft can be seen here.

The Goddard vehicle apparently made it 285 feet up before returning safely back down again, and the flight actually took place last November, but has only just gone public. Jeff was quoted on his website as saying:

We’re working, patiently and step-by-step, to lower the cost of spaceflight so that many people can afford to go; and so that we humans can better continue exploring the Solar System

Would you go into space if the chance is realistically offered? I think I would, but then I’ve read too many sci-fi novels. It’s amazing what you could be buying on Amazon in a few years time. Mind you, its amazing what you can buy now, as Tricia found out…
