Yep, it’s that green and white logo again. I’ve been seeing it all over the internet, so I thought I’d take a closer look at what Agloco is all about.
Very simply, when available (currently March 2007) you get to download the Agloco toolbar, which will sit in your browser and will be aware of the type of sites you surf to. The toolbar will then serve ads (within the toolbar), have a search function (which will reward you for using it) and make available utiities & software. No personal information is collected, it is simply aware of what kind of site you are on, and provides ads etc on that subject. It can be turned on and off with a single click, and easily un-installed.
The projected earnings for you, having installed it, and simply using the web as normal are in the region of $5-15 a month. It may not sound a lot, but just for using the web as normal, you could earn enough to pay for professional hosting for your blog, whichever is definitely a good idea. However you can boost your earnings exponentially by signing other people up to Agloco, as you will earn a percentage pf their earnings, plus the earnings of people they sign up and so on (It’s not subtracted from the other peoples earnings, but paid in addition to).
It’s free to join, and will never cost you anything. Once you sign up, you can download the toolbar (when available) or not, and leave at any time. It really does seem like a no risk way to earn a little money, and even if it proves to be peanuts, it’s still money for nothing. So, you can sign up here, or click on the logo and look into it further. You would become part of my network, and I’d earn a little something from your activities, but then you’re free to sign up as many people as you can to earn something from them!

will you tell how well you do with it?
I will indeed.
Are you going to sign up?
I am still not convinced that it is nothing more than a fancy pyramid scheme
The income sure sounds like it’s set up pyramid-style… and this would give us even more ads to click off in order to get to whatever we’re trying to get to?
I don’t know… I’m not really excited about this prospect just at present.
Oh it is CC, but until they ask for money, I can’t see any downside to signing up.
Darren Rowse & John Chow have given it a positive review so far, so my take is simply to suck it & see.
Hmm not sure yet!
