I tagged my wife Steph, to answer the 5 questions posed by Carol & think the answers she came up with are so good, (especially the one about me) they deserve a wider audience than her SadSpace account (She won’t let me give her a proper blog). So here they are:
Grrr, just because I haven’t posted anything,. not everyone in the world wants a blog you know…..oh well, I’ll only get grief if I don’t do it, so here you go. Just remember, you did ask…..
1 ) What have you learned so far from your visitors?
Erm, nothing….not wishing for sympathy but what visitors?? Please can I have a comment that’s not touting for business? No? Oh well……..
2 ) If someone would offer to pay a course (or more) for you, what that course would be?
Ooh, well I’m convinced that there’s both a rock guitarist and a jazz saxophonist waiting to burst out, so I guess music lessons - although I did play the cello when I was younger, I soon found that music is NOT one of my strong points (unless listening to a cat being slowly murdered is the sound you most want to listen to). Possibly singing lessons too - my kids constantly plead with me to shut up when I sing along to the radio - they never were very impressed with my lullabies ;op
3 ) Are you satisfied with what you’ve achieved this year, in general?
Can I pinch the answer Chris gave - as he said, we jacked in crap jobs and escaped to Scotland - really, what more can you say. Probably the best year yet (although obviously not as good as the year I met Chris, or the year we got married - is that enough sucking up sweetie??)
4 ) Did blogging changed your life or your personality in any way?
Yes - I don’t want a blog, I’m crap at this sort of thing - really, who out there really wants to read my rambling thoughts - they scare me half the time! Unfortunately, living in a house with a rabid, enthusiastic blogger means I have to - although he can be distracted by the secret weapon - banana bread…
5 ) If you had the opportunity to meet one person that you admire the most in the world, who that person would be?
Ooh, that is a very tough one. There are loads of people out there that I admire. I think the one I’d most want to meet would be John Frusciante - there’s a guy who is extraordinarily talented, got himself into such a situation with drugs that he should not be alive today, but not only is he alive, his talent is still there, and he’s produced a phenomenal number of albums, each one outstanding. Listening to his music makes the hair on the nape of my neck stand on end. I’d love to find out how he did it - an inspiration.
I think she could blog easily, probably better than me that’s for sure. If you have a MySpace account why not make her day with a comment here:
(She’s going to kill me when she sees this - I might disable comments!)
