- Cold frosty mornings in Scotland with a searing blue sky, ice encrusted trees, and a gentle breeze that removes three layers of skin - you know you’re alive.
- Waking up 20 minutes before the alarm, in a warm pocket of duvet, with the sun streaming around the blind and the smell of your wifes hair against your face.
- 10 minutes after 1. hearing your 4 year old twins shouting ‘hooray, its morning!’ before jumping out of bed, and mock-quietly creeping into your room.
- A John Frusciante guitar solo.
- Reaching the top of Clach na Ben, before hunkering behind a rock for a cold picnic with your family.
- Blue Eyes. Their are 3 other pairs in my house, and I never get tired of looking at them (mine are a murky brown).
- Little boys being impressed by things I do (And its quite funny when I exasperate them as well!).
- Battlestar Galactica. If there’s a better show in the last 20 years, I’ve not seen it.
- Living in Aberdeenshire, and not having to do a crappy job anymore. How did that happen?
- Teh Intarweb. Was there life before it?
