…recently. A slight cheat as the tag from RT at Untwisted Vortex is ‘today’, but I’m one of those boring people that still listens to one album at a time, all the way through, which would make for a rather dull post.
Here are ‘ze rules’ from RT:
The person tagged is supposed to repost my 10 songs before listing his or her own songs. Then he or she is to tag only one other person who does the same thing, but includes both sets of 10 songs before posting his or her own. When the list reaches 90 songs, the final “taggee” is supposed to tag me, the originator, and I fill in the final 10 for a total of 100. This creates a circular chain. Anyone within the chain can create a new chain at any time before this chain is complete.
So, please note that the first 10 are RT’s not mine – I really can’t emphasize that enough
1. Phil Collins – Sussudio
2. Patrick Swayze – She’s Like The Wind
3. Steely Dan – Hey Nineteen
4. Christopher Cross – Ride Like The Wind
5. Olivia Newton-John and ELO – Magic
6. Frankie Valli – Swearin’ To God
7. All 4 One – I Swear
8. Boyz II Men – End Of The Road
9. Electric Light Orchestra – I’m Alive
10. Spandau Ballet – True
Right, now mine:
- Red Hot Chili Peppers – Turn It Again
- Ataxia – The Sides
- Rollins Band – You Didn’t Need
- Gorillaz – Dare
- John Frusciante – Going Inside
- Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds – Stagger Lee
- White Stripes – 7 Nation Army
- Queens Of The Stone Age – Go With The Flow
- Foo Fighters – All My Life
- Janes Addiction – To Match The Sun
I’ve listened to them in the last week, so I think that’s fair enough.
I know how much she enjoys tags, and how wonderful her musical tastes are, so I vote Claire for the next 10. I know you’re busy right now matey, but later in the week?

You know, Chris, I listen to NONE of your musical choices. I think I gave up new music around 1999.
I’m heading the same way, there’s nothing from 2007 on there….
Hey RT, Stagger Lee came out mid-90s, so you can still listen to it
I loved that Murder Ballads album – not for the kiddies though.
I am guessing my taste is more towards Chris’s but not quite.
cheers,

Lol! are you sure the first list isn’t yours?
Hmm i like lots of music, i wonder what i will listen to on the day i do this?
So i have to post both lists above?
Hmmm, I think I’m more likely to like Chris’ music collection. Queens of the Stone Age, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chilli peppers. They’re usually on my playlist too. Don’t knock 2006/2007 music too hard, groups like Wolfmother and My Chemical ROmance have shown up on the scene to improve things.
Sorry, Chris, I like RT’s list better. At least I’ve heard most of those artists. I’m a big Steely Dan fan….
And what does a Foo fight, anyway? Or do they fight Foo’s? Sounds like something Al Capp might have invented in Li’l Abner. (Go look it up.)
Yes please Claire. Spare a thought for the later tagee’s …
MCR
They look like Thunderbirds (Sorry Rav’N)
Of course they fight Foo’s Curmudgeon-what else? (It’s actually a term from the 50’s USAF)
Hey i just posted mine, i pressed random and jotted the first ten down.
Thanks Claire, I shall have a look (and poke fun of course….).
Who the heck is Stagger Lee? Is that some Bruce Lee knockoff? Never heard of him/it/they/whatever.
Stagger Lee is the name of the song by Nick Cave.
and a top tune it is too
